Venezuelan Team To Play In Golden League’s Yuma

The Golden League signed a deal with the Venezuelan Baseball Federation to provide the players for the 2010 Yuma Scorpions:

This means that the 2010 GBL will replace the 2009 Yuma Scorpions players which were brought in from Colombia right before the season started.  The GBL also will have the most international emphasis of any pro baseball league in North America in 2010:

  • U.S. – West Coast and Hawaii
  • Venezuela – players in Yuma
  • Canada – 3 teams in the GBL
  • Mexico – Tijuana
