This week the Grand Prairie Airhogs named Ricky VanAsselberg as the team’s field manager for 2011:

VanAsselberg managed the Shreveport Captains last year to the American Association championship.  He worked for new Airhogs general manager, Craig Brasfield, who was the GM last year in Shreveport.

The Captains have not yet announced their new field manager as VanAsselberg (at the time of this post) is still on the Captains site:

Last year’s manager for the Airhogs, Pete Incaviglia, was named the manager for the upcoming 2012 Laredo independent baseball team:

The Airhogs until a few weeks ago were owned by Ventura Sports Group.  Ventura owns the 2012 American Association Laredo team, so they are familiar with Incaviglia since he was the manager of the Airhogs since the inception of the team in 2008.
