Two Pieces Of Interesting News From The Pecos League
Two unrelated, but interesting, pieces of news came out of the Pecos League this week:
First, the Alpine Cowboys and Las Cruces Vaqueros are playing a pre-season exhibition game at Cohen Stadium, the home of the current El Paso Diablos which play in the American Association. This is a great show of cooperation between independent leagues, and hopefully an indicator of future cooperative efforts for the industry:
Unrelated, but still interesting, is that Pecos League commissioner Andrew Dunn is donating an alligator to the Alameda Zoo in Alamogordo, New Mexico:
