The Santa Fe expansion independent baseball team in the Pecos League is now going to be called the Fuego. This is a change from its original name of the Santa Fe Mountain Lions:
The Mountain Lions played in the 2010 CBL as the Desert Valley Mountain Lions, but the similarity to Penn State University and the ties with the previous CBL team with the same name prompted the change to the Santa Fe Fuego.
