  1. I hope they stay in Trinidad AND add Raton to the Pecos. I think both can be supported well, and an instant friendly rivalry created to boot.

    It would also round out the league to ten teams, make the northern division very closely linked to reduce the overhead, and give baseball fans more to enjoy in the summer in those towns. They need it!!

    • It would make things interesting for a 5-team North division, but there likely are political concerns in Trinidad which are beyond the scope of the league. The question then is if two teams, that close, could support the minimum number of paid attendees even with the reduced travel costs (gas, hotels, etc.). If so, then your suggestion is viable for further consideration.
