Michael Jordan Offered Contract By Joliet Slammers

In the tradition of funny contract offers by Frontier League teams, the Joliet Slammers offered Michael Jordan an open invitation to play for the team this season.  This stems from a comment Jordan made years back by saying that he would still be playing at age 50.  Jordan’s 50th birthday took place recently.

In recent years other Frontier League contract offers were extended to LeBron James, former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, and other unique contract offers.  So far, none of the known personalities have taken up a FL team’s offer.
