With his return, and with 2011 being the first official year of the decade, he will be one of the few players in independent baseball to have been in an independent league uniform in 3 different decades. Another player who has played independent baseball in all 3 decades is Eddie Lantigua who is currently with the Can-Am League’s New York Federals (http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=lantig001edu).  Both of these players were on the Waterbury Spirit in the 1990’s.
