Here is something which is great to see.  Former Lincoln Saltdogs (American Association) player, Vance Albitz, is attempting to help out troops overseas by collecting old baseball gloves.  He is asking teams to request that their fans donate their old gloves; and the gloves will be shipped to the troops overseas in order to help them play baseball while stationed far away from home.
