John Massarelli No Longer Manager For The Lake Erie Crushers

The Lake Erie Crushers (Frontier League) have parted ways with the only field manager in team history, John Massarelli.  Quotes from the Crushers’ owner.  No word has come out yet if a new manager has been named, nor is there any word regarding the rest of the 2012 Crushers coaching staff.

  1. Obviously he is not done yet as a manager, unless he has designs to do something different, or at a different level of the game. He might be a good fit for the AL2 to arrive next year. But I doubt a guy with his resume will not be sought after for ’13 as well. Keep us posted on this!
