It reports on Golden League issues, team news, player stories, and has relevant links to other GBL and team-related sites. IndependentBaseball.net is not affiliated with the GBL, the Armada, or anyone associated with the team/league. Nonetheless, we wanted to give you an example of a solid blog with enough information to keep fans interested.
Many “hardcore” bloggers will suggest several things which can be done to improve the blog; but with a limited staff and limited time to update an independent minor league baseball team blog, we believe that they have done a solid job AND have consistency, including some days during the season with multiple posts. The consistency is key for any blog, especially one attached to an entity in the public eye like a professional sports team.
Here’s hoping that they keep up the good work throughout the off-season and through the 2010 campaign.
