East Bay Lumberjacks Join Pacific Association Mid-Season

This year’s Pacific Association has been a mix of schedules and teams.  The most recent news is that the Vallejo Admirals will not be going to play their series on the road against the Hawaii teams (Maui and the Stars).  Instead, a local team called the East Bay Lumberjacks (whom have played against some of the Pacific Association teams this season) are going to replace the Admirals for those games.  The Lumberjacks will become a member of the Pacific Association for the remainder of the season.

There is no official word on whether a 6th team will be added to the PA’s second half of the 2013 regular season.

  1. Well, at least the Hawaii teams will have someone to play, even if easy.

When these two weeks are up, they could also add the Santa Rosa Rose Buds whom they also play as extras. Don’t know what these two added teams do in the meantime. Are they weekend semipros? Weird.
