Two separate articles came out in recent days which have ties to the history of the Frontier League.  The first is an article on the Frontier League’s 20th season, and it features quotes from the Commissioner, Bill Lee.  It discusses the niche which the Frontier League has created, its desire to expand to 16 teams, and discusses some of the early days of the league:

From the player’s perspective, an interesting article came out about former Midwest Sliders player Zach Pace.  He discusses the team’s near-100 game road trip during the 2008 season.  In addition, the article covers his upcoming masters thesis topic:  “Ergogenic Aid Usage in Minor League Baseball”.  Depending on the paper’s findings, it could be interesting in terms of what information reaches the baseball press.
