Last year, the Peach State League started as a developmental league in Macon Georgia.  It was designed for college graduates who did not get signed to pro contracts to play and get picked up by independent leagues.  According to a recent article out of Macon, the league will suspend operations for 2011 in hopes of regrouping for 2012:
